326 Panggang Island People Undergo Their First Vaccination

As many as 326 people aged 18-59 years in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, underwent a mass Covid-19 vaccination, on Sunday (6/20).

They are slated to take the second dose in the upcoming September

It was held at the Thousand Islands Regency RSUD on Pramuka Island.

Thousand Islanss RSUD Vaccinator Team, Donny Alpha Edison said 339 people were targeted to get vaccine.

"After passing through screening, they will be vaccinated," he expressed.

He hoped that the massive socialization in Thousand Islands could build public awareness to soon take the vaccination thus residents could reach herd immunity.

"They are slated to take the second dose in the upcoming September," he explained.

Panggang Island Urban Village Acting Head, Iskandar added that it was being done massively through the Covid task force assisted by army and police.

"To speed up vaccination, we also have sea transportation service to pick up residents to get vaccine," he added.
